- The filière (stream) you select

- Study streaks
- Basic device and usage data needed to run the app securely

We use your information to:
- Build and adapt your personalized learning path from your diagnostic results and progress
- Generate AI feedback on your answers
- Give your teachers visibility into your progress
- Keep your account secure and send essential emails (verification, password reset)
- Improve the platform
4. AI feedback on your answers
To give you tailored feedback:
- Your answers may be processed automatically by our AI systems
- Feedback is returned in Darija or French, based on your preference
- This processing is used only to help you learn
We do not use your answers to publicly identify you.
5. Sharing your information
We share your information only:
- With teachers whose group you join — they can see your progress and results within their content
- With trusted service providers who help us run Zidni (such as email delivery and hosting), under agreements that protect your data
- When required by law
We never sell your personal data.
6. Students under 18
Zidni is designed for high-school students, who may be under 18. Where the law requires it, we ask that a parent or guardian gives consent. Parents and guardians can contact us at any time to review or remove their child's information.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it to meet legal obligations.
